Lovebirds
Of the three boys, Kiwi favors Mochi the most and they get along well. We often refer to them as the lovebirds when they are together.
Hot summer flop
While visiting the kitten cabin, JD makes the rare decision to stop exploring and have a good flop. He is our best flopper because he tries to roll onto his back. In the world of flop-judging, the best flop has a high belly-to-back ratio (click for an example from Youtube). Extra points for use of props - as JD demonstrates in this photo by using the table for a pillow.

Mingling with the kittens
JD is not afraid to meet the kittens now that they can walk, but he prefers to watch from a safe distance.

Caught on film: Tongue!
I have long sought to photograph a rabbit tongue, but it is so hard to get the timing right. Thankfully, our newest, Kiwi, licks her lips at least once every 3 minutes. Perhaps this is only the first of many.

JD goes for a walk
JD likes to stand up and scope around wherever he is. Somehow he managed to completely obscure his walking harness in this photo, but that's why his shape looks odd.

JD deploys the Batwings
Actually, it is the collar on a small dog sweater. Still, he is so small that he can just walk right out of a terrier-size shirt.

Bunny slippers
Mochi says, "No, Ickus, you have to duck like this, or else we don't make a matching pair of slippers!"

Kiwi and the Shubunkin
Kiwi's cage neighbor is Zippy the fish. Recently they were both featured on her favorite blog: Disapproving Rabbits

Guilty faces
I discovered today that the bunnies kidnapped a teddy bear. And they have prepared to run over him with the vacuum it seems.

Oh I hate the parallel parking part of the exam!
Ickus climbed up on the steering wheel today. Maybe he wanted to run over some of those noisy local dogs that have been keeping us up at night.

Stretching contest
Ickus long ago established that he can stretch farther and higher than any other bunny in the house.

Hay guys!
When it's time to add hay to the food bowl, Mochi is always directly under the hay bale -- directly in the line of fire. I don't know how this happened in all the hullaballo of haytime, but Mochi got frosted.

Full Bunny Scans
In my (un)professional medical opinion, your bunnies appear to have fluffy-itis.
We tested out the new scanner today. Kiwi and Ickus held still, no problem. JD is little Mexican Jumping Bean. He cannot stop looking around and surfing the smooth surface. Interesting to note that Kiwi didn't distribute much weight across her hind feet.

A Kiwi Crown
We settled on naming her Kiwi. She thinks herself a princess, so today she wore a tiara. Actually, it was mom's bracelet.

That looks nothing like me!
Our new girl checks out our custom fridge magnets that just came in the mail. Likewise we now have Mochi on our return address labels thanks to www.Vistaprint.com.

The monochromatic rainbow of friendship
Finally I leave them together and they are pals. We started socializing early yesterday morning and by evening, these three were stealing snuggles.

Bunny Destruction
If you listen closely at the end, you can hear Ickus grumbling as he wrestles with the star light.

I don't remember fathering any long-tailed kits lately? Do you Mochi?
Ickus and Mochi shy away from a 4-day old kitten. We discovered a litter of cats under our house today.
Sulking Queen
While the boys got their own pinecone and ravaged it immediately in their cage, our new girl pretends she doesn't notice the one in her cage. She likes to sulk in the corner and make us feel like we haven't been treating her like a princess enough. "Not good enough, take it away!"

Shadowbox Sitter
We like to keep the bunnies with us sometimes while we sit at our computers. Ickus is the best at staying patiently in his cubicle while we tippity type away. He also likes to watch other bunnies on Youtube. Girl bunnies.

Twin noses
Our new girl and JD both have that tan accent under their noses, which I love. Here their little noses are almost all you can see in the dark bunny condos.
You gonna eat that?
Our new girl only cares about alfafa pellets. Turns out she won't even sniff at greens and especially not triple-decker peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She sits quietly with me at the computer desk sometimes.

Where's the pool under this diving board?
Our new girl (still unnamed) has some socialization time with our existing rabbits. Overall, I'd say it went well, but I wouldn't call them friends.
